- WHY CAN’T WE GET DIRECT ADMISSION FOR FIITJEE PROGRAMS?
There are 2 reasons for it.
- FIITJEE’s programs are specialty programs preparing students for coveted entrance examinations like IITJEE, KVPY, NTSE, SAT etc. Not every student will be able to adjust to the intensive preparation. Though finally success will depend upon a student’s hard work, sincerity, continuity and support from his parents, by way of admission test we endeavor to ensure student has sufficient base knowledge to appreciate the program.
- We have limited seats to offer.
However, In case of certain Scholastic achievements we do offer direct admissions in certain courses. For details contact the admission office.

- HOW DO YOU ADVICE MY CHILD TO PREPARE FOR ADMISSION TESTS?
- ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIPS IN ADMISSION TEST?
FIITJEE has always supported & encouraged meritorious students to financial aid/scholarships/fee waivers. All FIITJEE admission tests (Including FTRE, BIGBANG EDGE, ESCAPE VELOCIT and POTENTIAL DISCOVERY TESTS) come along with hefty scholarships. Scholarships are also provided based on scholastic achievements like NTSE, Olympiads and KVPY.
We would also like to mention here that FIITJEE completely supports very meritorious but economically weaker students by giving free coaching, thereby realising their dreams of becoming engineers from IITs/NITs. (To know in detail visit http://www.fiitjee.co/Fortunate-40)
We request students from affluent families to donate their scholarships for these students.
- MY WARD HAS NOT GOT ANY SCHOLARSHIP THIS TIME. SHALL I ASK MY WARD TO PREPARE SERIOUSLY AND TRY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP NEXT YEAR?
You can do that but it will not be a good idea. Even if a student has not secured any scholarship this time, the fee for this year will be surely less than the fee that s/he will be paying next year even taking into account a sizeable scholarship. Therefore, while a student taking admission now is paying less amount, he is well ahead in preparation as he is getting the training from now on.
- HOW MANY TIME MY WARD CAN TAKE AN ADMISSION TEST?
A student can take admission test only twice in one academic session.
- WHY DOESN’T FIITJEE CONDUCT ONLINE ADMISSION TEST?
The students from rural areas are not having awareness with online exams especially the lower classes like 6th, 7th & 8th.
- ARE THERE SEPARATE ADMISSION TESTS FOR EXCELLENT SCHOOLING PROGRAM AND ZENITH PROGRAM?
Yes. (contact admission office or visit our website). The students can also get admission to these programs through our general admission tests.
- IF MY WARD TAKES ADMISSION IN FOUR YEAR/THREE YEAR CLASS ROOM PROGRAM CAN HE/SHE SHIFT TO INTEGRATED PROGRAM IN CLASS XI?
Yes. A student can upgrade from Classroom program to integrated programs through an upgradation eligibility test or FTRE/Admission test. To know more about upgradation process read the upgradation FAQ or contact the admission department.
- HOW DO I REGISTER MY WARD FOR AN ADMISSION TEST?
You can register www.fiitjeelogin.com or contact the admission office for offline registration.
- I HAVE HEARD ABOUT EXIT OPTION. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL WHAT IT IS?
Exit option is an option available to students to opt out of Four Year/Three year class room program after they finish their 10th standard curriculum.
- IF YOU HAVE AN EXIT OPTION, WHY DON’T YOU HAVE TWO YEAR/ ONE YEAR CLASS ROOM PROGRAMS FOR STUDENTS OF 9TH/10TH ?
CFY and CTH programs are designed aiming at seamless preparation for excellence in JEE. Two year/One year programs would lead to a significant loss of time and continuity. We strongly recommend serious aspirants for JEE to not execute the exit option.
However, there may be situations like
- Student wants change stream
- Transfer of parent where FIITJEE centre is not present or
- The student is unable to cope up with the stress of school and JEE preparation
A student can execute the exit option
- DOES THE EXIT OPTION MEAN THAT STUDENT CAN PAY ONLY 2 YEARS PDCS AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION?
No. All 4 Years PDCs have to be collected at the time of Admission itself. In case a student decides to exercise Exit option and submits a written intimation, the PDCs for Class XI/XII will be returned within 180 days of the receipt of the intimation.
- WHEN CAN I EXERCISE THE EXIT OPTION? DO I HAVE TO GIVE ANY DECLRATION REGARDING THIS AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION?
Exit option can be exercised when notified by FIITJEE. Generally its done 90 days before the due date of the first PDC for 11th class. The date for written intimation is most likely to be in the month of august.
- CAN MY WARD TAKE RE ADMISSION IN FIITJEE AFTER EXERCISING EXIT OPTION?
Yes. A student can appear for FTRE/Admission Test as an Ex FIITJEE student. They will be under the policy and fee applicable for Ex FIITJEE student at that time. However, it’s not recommended to exercise exit option as that would
- Bring discontinuity of their preparation
- The applicable fee would be higher than the present fee (Scholarship, if any, will be applicable only on the new fee.
- CAN A STUDENT UPGRADE TO INTEGRATED PROGRAM EVEN AFTER EXERCISING EXIT OPTION?
Yes, provided the written intimation is withdrawn before the cut-off date as notified at that point of time. Please note, upgradation can happen only through Upgrade eligibility test or FTRE/Admission Test. For more details on upgradation refer to the Upgradation FAQ.
